fee structure

The cost of the consultation depends on the reason(s) of your referral.

Payment is required on the day of consultation and we claim the Medicare rebate on your

behalf if you are eligible and hold a valid doctor’s referral. Specialist referrals are valid for 3 months,

GP referrals are valid for 12 months. We do not accept indefinite referrals.

We accept payments in the form of cash, cheque, direct deposit or eftpos.

PLEASE NOTE: Eastern Nephrology is NOT a bulk-billing clinic.

Gold-card Veterans Affairs patients should advise us of their VX number

so that an account can be forwarded directly to Veterans' Affairs.

Pensioner discounts do not apply at our practice.

If you are a new patient to Eastern Nephrology, please download and complete the below

Confidential Patient Information Form. We appreciate your current referral letter and any

relevant blood tests or imaging to be sent to us via fax or email prior to your appointment

so that your doctor can arrange any pre-consultation tests if necessary.

If you have any concerns with our fee structure, please discuss this with your doctor prior to your appointment.
