 Dr Margaret Fraenkel is a renal physician with an interest in chronic kidney disease and dialysis, poorly controlled hypertension, acute renal failure and glomerulonephritis. She also enjoys the challenge of improving symptoms in patients with complex, multisystem illness. Dr Fraenkel practises at Eastern Nephrology as well as the Eastern Health Integrated Renal Service. Dr Fraenkel is committed to enabling patients with kidney disease to maximise their quality of life on dialysis and prepare for renal transplantation if appropriate.

 Dr Vatsa Dave is a renal physician who specialises in managing patients with various stages of chronic kidney disease. She welcomes referrals of complex and challenging cases. Dr Dave has a keen interest in acute renal failure, glomerulonephritis, diabetic kidney disease and poorly controlled hypertension. Dr Dave provides medical supervision to patients dialysing in the Epworth Eastern dialysis unit. She also has a keen interest in renal transplantation, and is part of the renal transplant service at Eastern Health.

   Dr Sid Rajakumar is a nephrologist who is experienced in the management of a broad range of renal problems including acute and chronic kidney disease, hypertension, dialysis, transplantation and the prevention of kidney stones. He is part of the Eastern Health Renal Unit at Box Hill Hospital and also works as a general and peri-operative physician at Epworth Eastern and Knox Private Hospitals.

 Dr Darren Lee is a nephrologist at Eastern Health and Austin Health, and an adjunct senior lecturer at Eastern Health Clinical School of Monash University.  Dr Lee is the clinical lead for the kidney transplant program at Eastern Health.  He is involved in clinical trials for diabetic kidney disease, glomerulonephritis and kidney transplantation. Dr Lee has a special interest in proteinuria, glomerulonephritis, diabetic kidney disease, amyloidosis and transplantation.

Dr Louis Huang is a graduate from the University of Melbourne and is a Nephrologist at Eastern Health and Epworth Eastern. After completion of specialist training in 2010, Dr Huang began a Medical PhD in kidney diseases at Monash University. His research was awarded the prestigious NHMRC Dora Lush Postgraduate Scholarship and the Young Investigator Award at the 2011 Australian and New Zealand Society of Nephrology meeting. His medical interests include home-based dialysis, dialysis safety and clinical research.

Dr Kathryn Ducharlet is a renal physician with public and private appointments at Epworth  Eastern and Eastern Health.  She has expertise in symptom management,  chronic kidney disease and dialysis treatments.  Dr Ducharlet completed her medical degree with honors at the University of Melbourne and has completed a PhD in Kidney Supportive Care also at Melbourne University. She was awarded the Rowden White Prize in 2017 for academic  excellence.  She is the co-chair of the Kidney  Supportive Care special interest group which aims to improve quality of  life for all people with advanced kidney disease in Australia and New  Zealand.

Dr Michael Hsieh graduated from Melbourne University. He subsequently did his postgraduate training in internal  medicine and nephrology at Austin health and Eastern health. He has also completed a renal fellowship in Taiwan where is also a board certified nephrologist. His areas of interest include CKD management, dialysis, electrolyte disturbances and hypertension.

Dr David Lau is a dual-trained Nephrologist and General Physician. He  graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2001, underwent physician  training at Austin Health and Eastern Health, and then further  sub-specialty training in Nephrology at Geelong Hospital and Monash  Medical Centre.

Dr Lau undertook additional post-fellowship training in Intensive  Care Medicine, having worked at Intensive Care Units across Eastern  Health and Monash Medical Centre. David welcomes both Renal and General  Medical referrals. His special interests include acute kidney injury, electrolyte abnormalities, critical care, glomerulonephritis, chronic kidney disease and renal replacement therapy

Dr Lau also holds public appointments at the Angliss Hospital, as well as being a RACP Educational  Supervisor at Eastern Health.

Dr Jane Love is a consultant nephrologist with interests in acute and chronic kidney  disease, dialysis, electrolyte abnormalities and glomerulonephritis. Dr  Love initially worked as a researcher at the Baker Heart and Diabetes  Institute, her research has been published in a variety of journals.  She completed an Honour's research degree achieving dux of her class.  She  completed her physician training at Alfred Health and specialist  Nephrology training at Alfred Health, Eastern Health and Austin Health.

Dr Love practices at Epworth Eastern and consults at Epworth Lilydale.

Dr Parul Bali is a dual trained Nephrologist and General Physician. She  graduated from Australian National University in Canberra in 2010 and  undertook her Nephrology and General Medicine training across Western Health and The Royal Melbourne Hospital. She attained her fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2020. Dr Parul Bali has also completed a Masters in Public Health through Monash University and a Clinical Diploma in Palliative Medicine through the  Royal Melbourne Hospital and Royal Australasian College of Physicians.  Dr Parul Bali has an appointment as a  Nephrologist and a Medical-at-Home consultant at Western Health and also has been working in the Obstetric Medicine clinic at Joan Kirner Women's and Children's Hospital. She has a special interest in renal supportive care along with management of patients with chronic kidney disease, hypertension and dialysis.

Dr Fei Fei (Mary) Pan graduated from the University of Melbourne with MBBS/BA degrees.  She undertook specialist nephrology training at the Austin, Eastern and Royal Melbourne Hospitals.  She is experienced in managing chronic kidney diseases, as well as general medical and peri-operative issues.  She has undertaken research at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, focusing on haemodialysis patients, and is passionate about improving their outcomes.
